SONGWRITER COMPETITION
We are proud to announce the HOBOFOPO 2026 Songwriting competition as, Launceston songwriter Lou Fin, with her sweet and charming anti-folk/indie-folk ditty called “Tasmania”. We are excited to see her perform it in November!
“When I discovered HOBOFOPO online, I knew it was my vibe. I am ridiculously happy to win this competition with my little Tasmania-inspired song, I just laughed when I saw that it had won. Can’t wait to record it and play it to HOBOFOPO people.”
Lou Finn will receive $1000 of credit (at mate’s rates thanks to Jay Whalley) at the Pet Food Factory recording studio. The songwriting competition was made possible by funding from the City Of Hobart Events Grants program.
