The Button Collective is an exciting and energetic folk band from the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, currently with no fixed address, likely to be camped out at a festival somewhere. Their music borrows elements from traditional folk bands of Australia, Ireland, and central Europe, spiced with the spirit of fast-paced bluegrass from America, and all with a very personal and intimate delivery.
Their EP ‘The Lonesome Sea’ was released in February 2016 on Folk Til Ya Punk Records. It received national airplay on Triple J and some great reviews in press such as Timber and Steel. The Button Collective will be recording again later in 2016.
